2013: Week 7

Sorry for the delay in this week's post.  My new laptop broke within a month of getting it, and because Best Buy is so stellar they are sending it out to get fixed instead of just giving me a new one.  Its absolutely shocking that this company is on the brink of going out of business, with such stellar customer service and all.

Highlight of the Week:

This.

While watching the Republican Response, Dan literally said, "he needs water, you can tell."  Then, two minutes later, it was the water lunge heard round the world. While you can't fault the guy for needing some water, you can laugh a little about his facial expression while doing so.

Another highlight was Valentine's Day.  Dan really outdid himself this year.  Not only did I get two dozen roses, but Dan handmade me chocolate covered strawberries.  Pretty impressive, huh?

Also, the Zags beat Saint Mary's, which means the worst of our regular season is over, and hopefully we can slide into a number one seed!

Lowlight of the Week:  My commute. I am so over my commute.

(This photo was taken two miles from Woodall Rodgers)

Books: Still reading Gone Girl.  I am honestly having a hard time getting into it.  I think I just need to sit down and read it for longer then 15 minutes.

Movies: Ever since reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I have been looking forward to watching the movie. It finally came out on DVD this weekend, and although not as good as the book (they never are!), I thought the movie was really well done.  I was especially impressed with the actor who played Patrick.

Photos of the Week:

On Saturday, Dan and I went to our favorite local bar to watch the Zags play (and win!)

Flowers and chocolates left in my car.

Best Buy.... They did that "let's fix it for twice as much as the computer is worth" several time for me before they finally gave up, I bought a mac, and I haven't had to take this baby anywhere near a customer service desk since *knock on wood*.

You got spoiled for valentines day! Yum!
