Glad that's is over.
The experience of taking the bar exam can really be summed up into one word: relief. Studying for this exam has been such a source of unneeded pressure and misery in my life. I have neglected friendships, family, work, personal health (and often hygiene). How did it go? I really have no idea - but I know from personal experience that you never really do.
I certainly didn't know as much the this time around as I did when I took it two years ago. That being said, when finished day three, hour fifteen of test taking, I felt really proud of myself. I never thought that I would ever be able to work as much as I do and somehow study for this exam and not walk out in tears. However, not taking the bar exam in July and waiting until February would have been taking the easy way out, and I decided I owed it to myself to just give it my best shot. So much of my of my fear was - and is - in not passing. But you know what? Fuck it. If I don't pass then I'll just take it in February. But at least I tried.
Now? Here's what is on my post bar to-to list:
Reading Divergent for my book club on Sunday. I'm halfway through and really liking it. I don't know if it competes with Hunger Games, but its a compelling read so far.
Since I have sat on my ass for a month I am kicking my butt into gear with Jillian's 30 Day Shred. I am on day 6 and am obsessed. This is the best work out of my life and in only 20 minutes! I even have time to get up and do it before work.
Other then that, I am spending the rest of this month finishing up my job and then enjoying a much needed vacation back home. I can't wait. And I can't wait to start blogging regularly again.

Enjoy all your free time! I LOVE the 30 Day Shred, I am definitely doing it post baby and probably getting her 6 week ab video as well. I got awesome arm and leg definition when I did it last year!
It is amazing what Jillian can put your body through in such a short period of time! Jackie Warner's Xtreme Time Saver Training is a really good quick workout. And Jillian's Ripped in 30 is a good next step after the Shred :)
And more importantly, congrats on getting the bar done! I've got my fingers crossed for good results, but I'm sure you did awesome and don't need any luck from me!
Wow that is so awesome that you just went for it in July! So proud of you :D
Good luck with the results of the exam AND with the 30 day shred! I've heard she really kicks your ass!
Welcome back! You're DONE!!! You definitely deserve some real R&R now!
Yay for being DONE with the bar! I can only imagine the relief you must be feeling. Enjoy the book and working out and have fun now!
Congrats on finishing the bar exam! What a huge pain in the ass - it must feel great to be finished with that! Can't wait to hear how you like Divergent. It's on my To Read list.
Congratulations on being done!
And those are some great goals. Jillian is great! I started it a little while ago. I've been running to train for my half, but I'm thinking I should start that again as some strength training.
Congrats on being finished with the bar!! It must be such a weight off you shoulders!
I just started Divergent on Tuesday night. I'm loving it!
Congratulations on being done! I know it was a lot and still sending you all kinds of happy thoughts for the outcome!
I LOVED Divergent! So good. Can't wait to hear what you think about. I wish I could find a book club here. Sounds fun. And I think I'm going to give Jillian another shot, but man. It sure kicked my butt! hah
Enjoy your free time. You earned it!!
Yay to you - way to go! :)
